Art direction for a biannual print journal about solitude, quiet observation and the weight of golden hour. Every image sits in deep amber, every page runs to the edge.

The journal pairs long form writing with portraiture and still life, all shot in the last forty minutes of daylight. No flash, no reflectors, just whatever the sun gives.

Production Notes

Contributors were given one rule: everything must be shot or written between 5pm and sundown. The constraint forced a pace and a palette that no brief could have produced.

The issue was laid out in sequence like a film, each spread building on the warmth and shadow of the one before. Readers are meant to feel the day ending as they turn the pages.
